Common questions

A site won't load in the phone frame.

Click Reload first. Some sites still refuse to render inside another page. If a page keeps failing, use On my phone to open it on your real phone with a QR code, then email us the URL so we can look at it.

How close is the preview to a real phone?

MobileLens uses each device's real CSS viewport size, pixel ratio and mobile User-Agent, so layouts, breakpoints and text sizes match. It still renders with Chrome, so Safari-only quirks will not show. For a final check, On my phone opens the same page in your phone's own browser.

Where are my audits stored?

On your computer, in the extension's local storage. We never receive them. Delete one audit or your whole history from the Dashboard. Removing the extension deletes everything. The privacy policy has the details.

Why does MobileLens ask for access to all sites?

To load the page you choose inside the phone frame and measure its layout. It only acts on pages you open in the viewer, and it never reads your other tabs, history or passwords.

Explain with AI says I hit the daily limit.

Each install gets a set number of explanations per day. The count resets at midnight UTC.

How do I put my agency's name on reports?

Open a report and fill in Prepared by, add your logo, and tick White-label to hide the MobileLens footer. Your defaults live in Dashboard settings, so every new report starts branded.
